2019.05.20 Cigu District Office, Tainan We discussed the water quality issues in the breeding process, the development of future water quality monitoring and the impact of changes in water quality and salinity on rainfall events on the breeding industry. Through the briefing, the fishermen were informed of the research and plans of the IMPACT team. The fishermen also used the map provided by the team to draw some affected farming areas, and clearly marked areas for improvement. The discussions between the team and the fishermen were in a good results.

2019-11-05 NCKU News Center In order to solve the death of oyster and clam caused by the impact of climate change, our team cooperated with fishermen in Qigu breeding area to build a water quality monitoring network. Professor Chang and his team of the Department of Environmental Engineering has developed a simple water quality monitoring system.
